Artwork & Collections

My artwork spans several distinct collections: the Skeleton Art Gallery featuring celebratory skeleton art, the Witch Art & Fairy Art Gallery depicting magical feminine energy, the River Art Gallery exploring sacred waterways, and the Fairy Muse Art Gallery capturing ethereal inspiration. Each collection uses my signature layered acrylic technique while exploring different thematic elements.

Unlike traditional macabre imagery, skeleton art celebrates life through joyful Day of the Dead inspiration. These pieces transform mortality symbols into celebrations of existence, featuring vibrant colors and symbolic elements like musical instruments, hearts, and ceremonial gatherings. Each piece invites viewers to embrace life's fullness while honoring ancestral connections.

My witch and fairy art explores the magical feminine through ceremonial gatherings and mystical communion. These pieces blend traditional magical symbolism with contemporary artistic expression, featuring distinctive elements like star-sparkled robes and ethereal fairy observers. The collection celebrates women's wisdom, intuitive knowledge, and connection to natural cycles.

The Rivers Art Gallery transforms topographical reality into explorations of consciousness. Each river painting depicts a specific waterway (like the Amazon, Mississippi, or Nile) as both geographical feature and spiritual metaphor. These pieces invite viewers on a journey of self-discovery, using water's natural flow as a guide to deeper understanding.

Original paintings feature textural elements and dimensional details that can only be achieved through multiple layers of acrylic paint. Each original is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own energy and presence. Fine art prints capture the visual elements of the originals on premium paper, offering a more accessible price point while maintaining excellent color reproduction.

Commissioning an original artwork involves several steps:
1. Complete the commission form with your preferences and ideas
2. I'll contact you to discuss details and provide a quote
3. A 50% deposit secures your place in my creation schedule
4. I begin work and share progress updates if requested
5. Upon completion, I'll send final photos for your approval
6. Once the final payment is received, your artwork is packaged and shipped

Yes, I offer flexible payment plans for original paintings priced over $500. These typically involve three equal payments: an initial deposit, a midpoint payment, and final payment upon completion. Please contact me directly to discuss payment plan options for a specific piece.

Absolutely! While I offer standard sizes for both originals and prints, I'm happy to work with custom dimensions to suit your specific space. Custom sizing may affect pricing and creation timeline, which we'll discuss during the commission consultation.

Materials & Technique

I work primarily with professional-grade acrylic paints from Golden and Liquitex, selecting specific pigments for their vibrancy and lightfastness. My signature technique involves building multiple layers: beginning with thin washes for background effects, adding textural elements with palette knife application, and finishing with precise details using specialized painting needles.

The distinctive texture in my work comes from a combination of techniques: strategic building of acrylic layers, palette knife application for dimensional elements, and dotting techniques created with specialized tools. This multi-layered approach creates visual depth and tactile interest that changes under different lighting conditions.

To preserve your original artwork:
- Hang away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
- Avoid areas with high humidity or temperature fluctuations
- Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth when needed
- If more thorough cleaning is required, consult a professional art conservator
- Consider using UV-protective glass or acrylic when framing

My fine art prints undergo careful color matching to ensure they accurately represent the original artwork. However, prints cannot capture the dimensional texture and subtle variations present in original paintings. Each print is inspected to ensure excellent color reproduction and print quality before shipping.

Shipping & Handling

Original paintings are wrapped in acid-free tissue, secured with corner protectors, and placed between rigid boards before being packaged in sturdy shipping containers. Prints are placed in acid-free sleeves, backed with rigid board, and shipped in protective mailers designed specifically for artwork.

Yes, I ship worldwide. International shipping rates are calculated based on destination, package dimensions, and shipping method. Please note that international customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply when the artwork enters your country.

While damage is rare due to my careful packaging, I stand behind my work. If your artwork arrives damaged, please:
1. Take photos of the damage to both the packaging and the artwork
2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
3. Keep all original packaging materials
I'll work with you and the shipping carrier to resolve the situation promptly.

Domestic shipping within the United States typically takes 3-7 business days after your order ships. International shipping times vary by destination, usually between 7-21 business days. Custom commissions require creation time (typically 60-90 days) before shipping begins.

Additional Information

You can view my original paintings at Jackson Square in New Orleans (on the St. Peter's side) where I display regularly. My typical schedule is Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday from 10am to 4pm, weather permitting. I recommend contacting me beforehand to confirm my schedule for a specific day.

I occasionally offer workshops exploring my unique acrylic techniques and approaches to symbolic art. These workshops are announced through my newsletter and social media channels. If you're interested in arranging a private workshop or demonstration for a group, please contact me directly to discuss possibilities.

For original paintings on stretched canvas, framing is optional as the edges are painted as part of the composition. For works on unstretched canvas and prints, I recommend professional framing with acid-free matting and UV-protective glass or acrylic. Simple frames that don't compete with the artwork often work best to showcase the vibrant colors and details.
